Analysis of the Energy Characteristics of the Traction Substation Rectifier

2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek), 2021
The analysis of the electromagnetic processes of a rectifier unit with a controlled pulse-width modulation with a booster rectifier is carried out. An expression for the power factor of a rectifier unit is obtained by an integral method for determining reactive power. It is shown that the adjustable pulse width modulation parameter has little effect on

Traction Characteristics of a MIL-L-7808 Oil

Journal of Lubrication Technology, 1976
Traction versus slip curves for a full matrix of loads, speeds, and temperatures are given for one MIL-L-7808. Hertzian contact pressures from 80,000 psi (551.6 MN/m2) to 150,000 psi (1034.2 MN/m2), speeds from 900 ips (22.9 m/s) to 1,820 ips (46.2 m/s), and temperatures from 75°F (23.9°C) to 160°F (71.1°C) are the test matrix limits of variation. Slip

Analysis and research on discharge characteristics of traction battery

2014 IEEE Conference and Expo Transportation Electrification Asia-Pacific (ITEC Asia-Pacific), 2014
The characteristic of traction battery is one of the key factors which affect the electric vehicles' performance. This paper took the ternary material lithium-ion battery as example, investigated the dynamic power and internal resistance at different temperature and DODs.

Influence of Battery Characteristics on Traction Drive Performance

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1994
<div class="htmlview paragraph">The development of zero emission vehicles requires new concepts of the electrical drive train. On one hand the vehicle performance for a Californian electric vehicle must give high acceleration values together with enough vehicle range.

Traction Characteristics of Siloxanes with Aryl and Cyclohexyl Branches

Tribology Letters, 2012
The molecular structures, rheological properties, and friction coefficients of several new siloxane-based polymers were studied to explore their traction characteristics. The molecular structures including branch content were established by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, while the molecular mass distributions were determined by gel permeation

Traction and film thickness characteristics of traction fluids in high speed elastohydrodynamic contact

1999
Abstract The performances of continuously variable transmission have been investigated experimentally. The aim of this approach was to determine simultaneously traction and film thickness under isothermal elastohydrodynamic conditions. The experiments have been carried out with four traction fluids under various ranges of pressure (0.5 – 2 GPa) and ...

Traction Characteristics of Guide Roller with the Air Entrainment

2017
The guide roller of Shaanxi Beiren FR-400 high-speed gravure printing unit type is taken as the research object, and the guide roller traction model is established with air entrainment by using the fluid lubrication theory and mechanics theory. The influence factors such as wrap angle, guide roller diameter, web tension, equivalent roughness are ...

Measurement and Modeling of Truck Tire Traction Characteristics

1992
A new truck tire tester was built to measure tire forces in braking and cornering under various speed, vertical load, and slip angle conditions, and on different pavement surfaces. Six of the most common truck and bus tires were tested. In general, rib tires performed better than lug tires and radial tires performed better than bias-ply tires.

A study on traction motor characteristic in EMU train

2014 14th International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS 2014), 2014
The main transformer of the train is the equipment that receives the AC 25KV power from the trolley wire and transforms it to an adequate voltage that can be used by the traction control system of the train. The primary winding side is the trolley wire voltage; the secondary winding side is the load side that supplies power to the main motor through ...
