In this paper, the mathematical model of the PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) traction drive system is established. After the linearization of the model, the equation of state which takes the fluctuations of the DC traction voltage as input is deduced.

Traction Force Microscopy in 3‐Dimensional Extracellular Matrix Networks
Current Protocols in Cell Biology, 2017AbstractCell migration through a three‐dimensional (3‐D) matrix depends strongly on the ability of cells to generate traction forces. To overcome the steric hindrance of the matrix, cells need to generate sufficiently high traction forces but also need to distribute these forces spatially in a migration‐promoting way.

Simulation and Analysis for Electromagnetic Environment of Traction Network
2021 XXXIVth General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI GASS), 2021Due to the hidden safety hazards in the traction network of electrified railways in windy areas in China, it is necessary to study the influence of the protective wire landing on the traction backflow and power frequency magnetic fields. Therefore, in this paper, based on the theory of Multi-conductor Transmission Lines (MTL), a mathematical model of ...

Monitoring and Remote Access to Traction Network Terminals
2018 XIV International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2018The article proposes an innovative digital connection system of terminal to a traction substation computer and power dispatcher via remote access system that allows to observe and operate the In-Ter device. The power dispatcher or technical department engineer can observe the terminal In-Ter in real operation mode.

The Unbalanced Modes Analyze Of Traction Loads Network
2020 Ural Symposium on Biomedical Engineering, Radioelectronics and Information Technology (USBEREIT), 2020Presently, it has been recognized that unbalanced modes of high-voltage networks occur quit often and adversely affect the electrical consumers and the technical-economic indicators of electric power systems. The adverse effect lies in the fact that under unbalance current, the transmission capacity of three-phase supply systems decreases, the ...

Diagnostics of Electrical Connections of Electric Traction Network
2020Full-scale structural measurements of new and existing electric traction networks are becoming increasingly important because of the ever-increasing train speeds and associated effects. Higher speeds lead to increased loads and greater structural dynamic responses, increasing mechanical and electrical loads.

A minimum principle for tractions in the elastostatics of cable networks
International Journal of Solids and Structures, 1987A constrained extremum principle for the elastostatics of cable networks is formulated. A convex, non-differentiable functional involving only static variables is shown to attain its minimum on a convex set, in correspondence of the solution of the problem.

An analysis of the results of simulation of electromagnetic processes in the “traction substation-catenary-electric locomotive” system with electric locomotives working in the feed zone in the traction and regenerative braking modes at different distances from the traction substation is carried out. A real-time computing complex was used for simulation.

Traction control using artificial neural networks
2002Modern traction control techniques manage driven wheel speed from data obtained through a small number of sensors from around an automobile. This data is then fed into an on-board computer that has been specially programmed to attempt to maximise driven wheel traction from its information base.

Experimental Evaluation of Earth Currents Generated by a Dc Traction Network
EMC Europe 2006 Barcelona, International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2006Earth currents generated by a DC traction network, causing interference with the functioning of sensitive apparatuses and plants located in the surrounding area, are experimentally investigated. Measurements of the potential variation of a lighting plant earthing network are made at the same time with significant railway load variations.
