Microporous Microgel Assemblies Facilitating the Recruitment and Osteogenic Differentiation of Progenitor Cells for Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
There is a significant need for biomaterials with well‐defined stability and bioactivity to support tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed a tunable microgel platform that enables the decoupling of stiffness from porosity, thereby promoting bone regeneration.

Biobased Bionic Spider Silk via Electrostatic Complexation for Simultaneously Harvesting Atmospheric Water and Triboelectric Energy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bio‐based bionic spider silk and spider web are first prepared using polyelectrolyte complexation technique for the simultaneous harvesting of water and triboelectric energy. The advantage of this process lies on entirely bio‐based materials, fully green water‐processable procedures, extremely high production rate (99.36%), excellent fog harvesting ...

The concept of a hybrid traction power supply system [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
The growing shortage of energy resources to provide heavy traffic and high-speed traffic necessitates the development of a new power supply scheme for a traction network using sources of distributed generation of electric energy. Application of asymmetric distributed traction power system with the use of distributed generation allows to increase ...
