Calculation methodology of current distribution in traction networks of AC current

open access: yesВестник Научно-исследовательского института железнодорожного транспорта, 2017
Several publications have been devoted to the development of traction power supply for alternating current [1, 2]. They set the task of considering the resistance of the external power supply system and power traction transformers when calculating the ...

A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Low Vibration Control Scheme for Permanent Magnet Motor Based on Resonance Controllers

open access: yesEnergies
For an electric locomotive traction motor, it is necessary to maintain relatively low vibration and noise due to the higher design standards. By using effective motor control strategies and implementing current harmonic suppression schemes, motor ...

Robust Control of Railway Traction System

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2018
Abstract In this paper, a robust control strategy of a railway traction system with induction motor is proposed. The control problem is divided into sub-loops such as, current loop, acceleration loop, speed loop and position loop. A conventional PI controller is designed for the current loop, which is a very fast loop in comparison to the other ...

Validation of a Genetic Risk Score Combined With Clinical Variables for Predicting Pulmonary Fibrosis in Early Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score (CRS) for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of patients with early RA.

Analysis of Electromagnetic Vibration in Permanent Magnet Motors Based on Random PWM Technology

open access: yesMachines
High vibration noise limits the application of permanent magnet motors in electric locomotive traction. This paper focuses on the high-frequency electromagnetic vibration in traction permanent magnet motors introduced by inverters. It explores the impact

Interaction between Molten Al‐Killed Mn–B Steel and Carbon‐Bonded MgO Refractories Based on Recyclates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.
