Fully Bio‐Based Gelatin Organohydrogels via Enzymatic Crosslinking for Sustainable Soft Strain and Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Enzymatically crosslinked gelatin‐based organohydrogels, fabricated through a fully bio‐based and scalable process, exhibit exceptional strain and temperature sensing capabilities with minimal interference from environmental humidity. These transparent, stretchable, and ionically conductive materials operate without synthetic fillers or dopants.

Time Dependent Efficiency of Free Trade Agreements - The Case of Slovenia and the CEFTA Agreement [PDF]

open access: yes
In international trade literature there is a common feature that the abolishment of barriers to trade leads to direct expansion of trade flows. Many empirical studies that simulate welfare effects of trade liberalisation explicitly make use of this ...

Alkali Ion‐Incorporated HfO2 Dielectrics for Reconfigurable Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) transistor with an alkali cation‐integrated hafnium dioxide (HfO2) dielectric exhibiting synaptic behavior via ion retention. The solution‐based film fabrication strategy overcomes the limitations of atomic layer deposition (ALD) and precursor coating, enabling the control of synaptic retention ...

Fiscal Competition, Convergence and Agglomeration [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper analyzes the impact of fiscal competition through infrastructure in a New Economic Geography framework. It is shown that regional competition leads to convergence if the trade costs are high but induces divergence if trade cost have fallen ...

Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...

Consumption efficiency hypothesis and the optimality of free trade policy in a small open economy [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper is designed to examine the optimality of the free trade policy in a small poor economy incorporating the consumption efficiency hypothesis in the simple two-by-two Heckscher-Ohlin-Samuelson (HOS) framework.

Stretchable p/n‐Pair Thermoelectric Fibers Based on Core (Ag)–Shell (Ag2Se) Structure for Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Stretchable p/n‐pair Ag@Ag2Se TE fibers are developed for next‐generation fiber‐based electronics. The TE fibers maintain excellent electrical conductivity and a high Seebeck coefficient under strain. Integrated into textiles, they enable simultaneous temperature and strain sensing, as well as energy harvesting, offering great potential for ...
