Trade Unions, Workers and the Protection of Workers’ Rights: A Vicious Circle with No Escape?
The overall problem with the trade unions, workers and protection of the workers’ rights is that the workers wait for the trade unions to defend them, protect them and advance their rights, while the trade unions can not achieve that without the workers’

Controllable Dynamic Mechanical Cell Stimulation using Magnetically Actuated Artificial Cilia
This paper introduces a platform based on magnetic artificial cilia for providing controllable dynamic mechanical stimulation to single cells, suitable for investigating large cell populations and enabling live cell imaging. Proof‐of‐principle experiments show that cell morphology is strongly influenced by the artificial cilia, that cellular forces can

Probing Cellular Activity Via Charge‐Sensitive Quantum Nanoprobes
A new quantum sensing modality detects shifts in zero‐field splitting caused by charge rearrangement with diamond nanocrystals in response to cellular activity. These electric‐field‐driven effects provide an alternative to temperature‐based interpretations, enabling real‐time, single‐cell readout of inflammation.
