Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Implicit transaction costs and the fundamental theorems of asset pricing
This paper studies arbitrage pricing theory in financial markets with implicit transaction costs. We extend the existing theory to include the more realistic possibility that the price at which the investors trade is dependent on the traded volume.

This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.

Trading efficiency in water quality markets [PDF]
A crucial factor in the success of any water quality trading market is its ability to cost-effectively reallocate nutrient allowances from initial holders to those users who find them most valuable; the market's trading efficiency.

Internalization, Clearing and Settlement, and Liquidity [PDF]
: We study the relation between liquidity in financial markets and post-trading fees (i.e. clearing and settlement fees). The clearing and settlement agent (CSD) faces different marginal costs for different types of transactions.

Previsão Não-linear de Retornos na BOVESPA: Volume Negociado em um Modelo Auto-Regressivo de Transição Suave [PDF]
In this study, the predictive power of a logistic smooth transition auto regression model (LSTAR) in generating statistically significant returns is evaluated when the transition variable is trading volume and the lagged return itself, for the São Paulo ...
