Agronomic and Economic Efficacy of Nitrate‐Based Compound Fertilizer in Replacing Straight Fertilizers Application on Oil Palms Planted in Semiarid Regions

International Journal of Agronomy, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In Indonesia, urea is the most common type of nitrogen fertilizer applied in oil palm plantations. However, urea contributes to high volatilization rate, particularly during drought season. Furthermore, significant yield drop was observed when applying urea during drought season.
