Static Traffic Assignment with Queuing: model properties and applications
This paper describes the road traffic assignment model Static Traffic Assignment with Queuing (STAQ) that was developed for situations where both static (STA) and dynamic (DTA) traffic assignment models are insufficient: strategic applications on large ...

Pathway Analyses of Inherited Neuropathies Identify Putative Common Mechanisms of Axon Degeneration
ABSTRACT Objective Inherited neuropathies (IN) are associated with over 100 different genetic mutations presenting with a variety of phenotypes. This complexity suggests multiple pathways may converge onto a limited number of downstream pathways to effect axonal injury.

Analysis of dynamic system optimal assignment with departure time choice [PDF]
Most analyses on dynamic system optimal (DSO) assignment are done by using the control theory with an outflow traffic model. On the one hand, this control theoretical formulation provides some attractive mathematical properties for analysis.

An Investigation on Computational Methods of Traffic Assignment in Road Networks [PDF]
In this paper some computational methods of traffic assignment are proposed. At first solutions of traffic assignment by the equal travel times principle used nonlinear programmings are showed. They are a method to approximate by a quadratic programming,

Small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) are encapsulated into protective shells composed of metal‐phenolic networks (MPNs) and secondary poly(ethylene glycol) layers. This surface modification approach enhances the storage stability of sEVs while maintaining their integrity and functionality. The shells can be selectively disassembled under mild conditions.

A Dynamic Traffic Assignment Model for the Sustainability of Pavement Performance
Existing Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) models assign traffic flow with the principle of travel time, which are easy to distribute most of the traffic flows on the shortest path.

HARMLESS Early Warning System for Advanced Materials
The HARMLESS Early Warning System tackles Advanced Materials (AdMa) risk governance by providing a framework, organised in two tiers, underpinned with methods/tools to support risk assessors in the pre‐assessment preceding risk assessment. It allows for initial screening to identify AdMa with concerns considering exposure, hazards, sustainability and ...

Pedestrian Route Choice by Iterated Equilibrium Search
In vehicular traffic planning it is a long standing problem how to assign demand such on the available model of a road network that an equilibrium with regard to travel time or generalized costs is realized.

Maximally Flexible Assignment of Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor Codes for Multi-Rate Traffic [PDF]
In universal terrestrial radio access (UTRA) systems, orthogonal variable spreading factor (OVSF) codes are used to support different transmission rates for different users.

Extracellular matrix remodeling is crucial in cancer progression. Using a peptide to probe the tension of ECM fibers, it was found that Fibronectin fibers gradually lose tension as human breast carcinoma progresses, while their tension is maintained in ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), the non‐invasive precursor of breast cancer. This loss of tension is
