Viral Infection‐Inspired Autonomous Detection of Fusion‐Competent Viruses for Screening and Environmental Surveillance

Inspired by viral entry mechanisms, the FUSION assay enables autonomous detection of respiratory viruses via membrane fusion–triggered CRISPR‐Cas13a activation. VEACON selectively fuses with fusion‐competent viruses, triggering fluorescence within confined vesicles.

Cycling Speeds in Urban Traffic

This study investigates how cycling speeds vary across infrastructure types using open data from Hamburg, Germany, collected between 2022 and 2024. By integrating bicycle network data, tracking app-based cycling speeds, land use, and topographic information, key determinants of cycling speed are identified through a gamma regression model. A Scalable Perovskite Platform With Multi‐State Photoresponsivity for In‐Sensor Saliency Detection

A scalable in‐sensor computing platform (32 × 32 array) with ultra‐low variability is developed by incorporating ferroelectric copolymers into halide perovskite thin films. These devices achieve 1000 programmable photoresponsivity states and high thermal reliability.

Anti‐Slip Material‐Based Strategies and Approaches

This review highlights the principle mechanisms of slipping at the microscale, linking contact mechanics with a friction behavior model for surface interfaces. Main strategies to develop anti‐slip properties to the surfaces are discussed alongside standardized testing approaches.
