A Multi-Computer System With a Flexible Tool for Efficient Traffic Management

open access: yes, 2012
In recent years, several computer models have been developedto help traffic engineers understand and solve traffic problems.Although traffic enginee1ing studies continue to be carriedout by manual methods, computer approaches are beingincreasingly ...

Ti3C2Tx MXene/Silver Composite Foams For Lightweight, High‐Performance Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and Joule Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Ultrathin MXene/EMF composite foams achieve a specific shielding efficiency of 749.6 dB.dB·cm3$\mathrm{dB}\cdot {\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$/g, while the silver‐enhanced MXene/Ag/EMF reaches 81.4 dB shielding effectiveness at just 1.0 mm thickness. Both composites exhibit rapid Joule heating, retain stability up to 250∘C$^\circ{\rm C}$, and withstand 1000 ...

A behavior‐based framework for assessing barrier effects to wildlife from vehicle traffic volume

open access: yesEcosphere, 2016
Roads, while central to the function of human society, create barriers to animal movement through collisions and habitat fragmentation. Barriers to animal movement affect the evolution and trajectory of populations.

Solid‐State Nanopore Characterization of Dendrimer‐Peptide Conjugates Across Defined Peptide Loadings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Solid‐state nanopores are used to interrogate dendrimer‐peptide conjugates with systematically varied peptide loading. Single‐particle ionic current signatures reveal how ligand density modulates deformability, transport pathways, and electromechanical coupling during translocation.

Cap‐oPMN: Oral Inflammatory Load Quantification Using Capillary Microfluidics and Automated Image Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Quantifying oral polymorphonuclear neutrophils (oPMNs) is a clinically validated approach for assessing periodontal inflammation. However, current methods, such as manual hemocytometry and flow cytometry, are time‐consuming (>3 h), require invasive sampling, and depend on staining and complex instrumentation, making them unsuitable for point ...

Change in traffic volumes in construction work zones

open access: yesTransport Technologies
The problem of bottlenecks on the road network is relevant, especially in cities with radial and radial-ring schemes, since in case of their occurrence on arterial radial streets, it is difficult to choose an alternative route due to the low capacity of ...

PD‐1 Inhibits CD4+ TRM‐Mediated cDC1 Mobilization via Suppressing JAML in Human NSCLC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CD4+ tissue‐resident memory T cells (TRMs) in non‐small cell lung cancer recruit conventional type 1 dendritic cells via XCL1‐XCR1 signaling, orchestrating antitumor immunity. The costimulatory molecule JAML is essential for this process. PD‐1 blockade restores JAML expression and cDC1 mobilization, while JAML agonists synergize with anti‐PD‐1 therapy,
