Quantitative trait loci for baseline erythroid traits
Mammalian Genome, 2006A substantial genetic contribution underlies variation in baseline peripheral blood counts. We performed quantitative trait locus/loci (QTL) analyses to identify chromosome (Chr) regions harboring genes influencing the baseline erythroid parameters in F2 intercrosses between NZW/LacJ, SM/J, and C57BLKS/J inbred mice.

Trait anxiety, trait depression, worry, and memory
Behaviour Research and Therapy, 2004A study is reported which investigated the proposal that high trait anxiety is associated with a memory bias for worry themes. Forty-five participants were categorised as being high or low trait anxious on the basis of scores on the (Spielberger et al., 1983) (Manual for the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (Form Y) (1983)).

This paper reports our experiences using traits, collections of pure methods designed to promote reuse and understandability in object-oriented programs. Traits had previously been used to refactor the Smalltalk collection hierarchy, but only by the creators of traits themselves.
