Improvement on Vehicle Trajectory Reconstruction

Proceedings of the 2018 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Systems, 2018
This paper presents the technique using geometric road network (GRN) to improve data fusion method for vehicle trajectory analysis and reconstruction. The experiment used two methods of data fusion which are Linear-interpolation-based one and Kalman-filter-based one and used the simulation of detection and localization of vehicle moving in straight ...

Image reconstruction for the circle-and-arc trajectory

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 2005
Proposed is an exact shift-invariant filtered backprojection algorithm for the circle-and-arc trajectory. The algorithm has several important features. First, it allows for the circle to be incomplete. Second, axial truncation of the cone beam data is allowed.

A method of the basketball trajectory reconstruction

2008 9th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2008
In this paper we proposed a method to reconstruct the basketball trajectory from 2D plane to 3D space. First we discuss the camera calibration and obtain the affine projection matrix. Estimation of the 3D coordinates from 2D coordinates is a morbid problem, in this paper we resolve it by the continuity of basketball trajectory.

An Enhanced Method of Trajectory Privacy Preservation Through Trajectory Reconstruction

2017
Trajectory data of mobile users contain plenty of sensitive spatial and temporal information, and can support many applications through data analysing and mining. However, re-identification attack and inference attack on such data may cause serious personal privacy leakage.

Image reconstruction for the circle and line trajectory

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 2004
We propose an exact shift-invariant filtered backprojection algorithm for inversion of the cone beam data in the case when the source trajectory consists of an incomplete circle and a line segment. The algorithm allows for axial truncation of the cone beam data. The length of the line scan is determined only by the region of interest and is independent

Trajectory reconstruction for self-localization and map building

Proceedings 2002 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (Cat. No.02CH37292), 2003
We describe a method for the reconstruction of a driven trajectory of a mobile robot if the begin and end states of the trajectory are known, and intermediate readings from odometry are available. Our method uses a Kalman filter to combine a forward and backward dead-reckoning trajectory.

Reconstruction of a system’s dynamics from short trajectories

Physical Review E, 2008
Long data sets are one of the prime requirements of time series analysis techniques to unravel the dynamics of an underlying system. However, acquiring long data sets is often not possible. In this paper, we address the question of whether it is still possible to understand the complete dynamics of a system if only short (but many) time series are ...

Indoor Trajectory Reconstruction Using Mobile Devices

2018 IEEE 32nd International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA), 2018
Trajectory is the path that is formed because of the moving object positioning history. Based on where it happened, trajectory can be formed in indoor or outdoor environment. While outdoor trajectory can be reconstructed by GPS technology, this technology is not sufficient to be used in indoor environment.

Camera-less articulated trajectory reconstruction.

2012
In this paper, we address the problem of reconstructing 3D trajectories given only 2D point projection trajectories of an articulated structure. Hitherto, most applications of articulated trajectory reconstruction require: (i) relative lengths, and (ii) camera motion. We propose a novel extension that allows us to in many circumstances circumvent these
