Biotechnological applications of Trametes versicolor

Trametes versicolor (syn. Coriolus versicolor and Polyporus versicolor) belongs to the phylum Basidiomycota in the kingdom of fungi, colloquially known as Basidiomycetes. The opportunities and challenges for the industrial use of T. versicolor will be presented in this work targeting the principles of circular and sustainable bioeconomy.
