A State-Based Modeling Approach for Efficient Performance Evaluation of Embedded System Architectures at Transaction Level [PDF]

open access: goldJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2012
models are necessary to assist system architects in the evaluation process of hardware/software architectures and to cope with the still increasing complexity of embedded systems.

Drift in Transaction‐Level Asset Price Models [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of Time Series Analysis, 2017
We study the effect of drift in pure‐jump transaction‐level models for asset prices in continuous time, driven by point processes. The drift is assumed to arise from a non‐zero mean in the efficient shock series. It follows that the drift is proportional to the driving point process itself, that is, the cumulative number of transactions.

LIMIT LAWS IN TRANSACTION-LEVEL ASSET PRICE MODELS [PDF]

open access: greenEconometric Theory, 2013
We consider pure-jump transaction-level models for asset prices in continuous time, driven by point processes. In a bivariate model that admits cointegration, we allow for time deformations to account for such effects as intraday seasonal patterns in volatility and nontrading periods that may be different for the two assets.

Evaluating system security using Transaction Level Modelling

open access: diamondFacta universitatis - series: Electronics and Energetics, 2014
The design of secure systems requires the use of security analysis techniques. Security objectives have to be considered during the early stages of system development and design; an executable model will give the designer the advantage of exploring the vulnerabilities early, and therefore enhancing the system security.

Transaction-level Model Simulator for Communication-Limited Accelerators [PDF]

open access: green, 2020
Rapid design space exploration in early design stage is critical to algorithm-architecture co-design for accelerators. In this work, a pre-RTL cycle-accurate accelerator simulator based on SystemC transaction-level modeling (TLM), AccTLMSim, is proposed for convolutional neural network (CNN) accelerators.

Robustness against Read Committed for Transaction Templates with Functional Constraints [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2023
The popular isolation level Multiversion Read Committed (RC) trades some of the strong guarantees of serializability for increased transaction throughput.

A Review of the Different Levels of Abstraction for Systems-on-Chip (SoC) [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2021
Simulating systems on a chip (SoC) even before starting its productivity makes it possible to validate the correct functioning of the systems, also avoiding the manufacture of defective chips.

Synergistic Verification of Hardware Peripherals through Virtual Prototype Aided Cross-Level Methodology Leveraging Coverage-Guided Fuzzing and Co-Simulation

open access: yesChips, 2023
In this paper, we propose a Virtual Prototype (VP) driven verification methodology for Hardware (HW) peripherals. In particular, we combine two approaches that complement each other and use the VP as a readily available reference model: We use (A ...

Analysis of Liquid Quantity Measurement in Loading/Unloading Processes in Cylindrical Tanks

open access: yesComputation, 2022
Tanks, as instruments in oil and its product’s amount measurement system chain, must be regularly maintained and metrologically inspected, as they significantly contribute to measurement uncertainty.
