Equilibrium returns with transaction costs [PDF]

open access: yesFinance and Stochastics, 2017
We study how trading costs are reflected in equilibrium returns. To this end, we develop a tractable continuous-time risk-sharing model, where heterogeneous mean–variance investors trade subject to a quadratic transaction cost.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING OF TRANSACTION COSTS OF A FIRM

open access: yesДискурс, 2016
The questions connected with management accounting of transaction costs of a firm are considered in the article. The article describes types and classification of transaction costs in the organization, problems related to accounting and management ...

Technical Note - A Robust Perspective on Transaction Costs in Portfolio Optimization

open access: yesOperational Research, 2018
We prove that the portfolio problem with transaction costs is equivalent to three different problems designed to alleviate the impact of estimation error: a robust portfolio optimization problem, a regularized regression problem, and a Bayesian portfolio

Trade, Trust and Transaction Costs [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2003
Transaction costs are a major reason why international trade flows are much smaller than traditional trade theory would suggest. Trust between trading partners lowers transaction costs and may therefore enhance trade. The empirical analysis of this paper shows that more trust leads to more trade so that part of the "mystery of missing trade" can be ...

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

Endogenous Transaction Costs [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper proposes an alternative general equilibrium formulation of financial asset economies with transactions costs. Transaction costs emerge endogenously at equilibrium and reflect agents decisions of intermediating financial activities at the ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Transaction Costs in Digital Coordinates

open access: yesСтатистика и экономика
The article examines the problems of studying transaction costs through the prism of the concept of an “extended enterprise” in the digital economy, defines evolutionary approaches to the study of transaction costs, classifies the classification features

OFFSHORING IN THE TRANSACTION COSTS THEORY

open access: yesEkonomia i Prawo, 2014
The paper presents an idea of offshoring, a concept assuming movement and realization of production and service processes abroad. It displays different kinds of offshoring as well as presents the transaction cost theory, which considerably ...
