Sailing Through Setbacks—What Makes Personal Financial Resilience?

open access: yesAccounting &Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We investigate financial adaptation by young adults (18 to 40 years old) during a recent cost‐of‐living crisis in a developed economy. Software Transactional Memory

open access: yes, 2009
This thesis presents technology overview of software transactional memory and related technologies. Concurrent programming is one of the hardest tasks a programmer can face. The classic solution is the use of locking, which limits concurrent accesses to shared data structures. Unfortunately, locking suffers from a multitude of problems.

Dynamic Algorithm for Mining Relevant Association Rules via Meta-Patterns and Refinement-Based Measures

open access: yesInformation
The mining of relevant association rules from transactional databases is a fundamental process in data mining. Traditional algorithms, however, will typically be based on fixed thresholds and general rule generation, with the result being large and ...

Since then, the sanctions have radically devalued Iran's currency, leading Iranians to seek a viable standard of value elsewhere. They have done so through ghachagh (fugitive) configurations
