Design of a building energy management system for transactive energy
2015 International Symposium on Consumer Electronics (ISCE), 2015In this paper, we design a building energy management system for integrated management of energy generation, consumption, storing, and trading to maintain balance between energy demand and supply in customer buildings. The term “Transactive Energy” defined by the GridWise is introduced to help clear understanding of the designed system.

Demo: Transactive Energy Application with RIAPS
2019 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Real-Time Distributed Computing (ISORC), 2019The modern electric grid is a complex, decentralized cyber-physical system requiring higher-level control techniques to balance the demand and supply of energy to optimize the overall energy usage. The concept of Transactive Energy utilizes distributed system principle to address this challenge.

Calculation of energy transaction allocation factors
IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2001The ability to allocate the MW loading on transmission lines and groups of lines is the basis of NERCs "flow based" transmission allocation system. In such a system, the MW flows must be allocated to each line or group of lines in proportion to the MWs being transmitted by each transaction.

Profitable Energy Transaction in a Smart Distribution Network Through Transactive Energy Systems
To successfully balance supply and demand across electrical distribution networks in a dispersed way, the concept of a peer-to-peer energy market has been introduced under transactive energy systems (TES). The TES allows the end user to exchange energy with other neighboring end users.S. L. Arun +3 more

Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Future Networks and Distributed Systems, 2018
The smart grid vision is unveiling new possibilities in the ways utilities and consumers interact with energy; transactive energy (TE) being one of them. In TE system, economic and control mechanisms are combined in such a way as to allow dynamic balance of supply and demand across the entire electrical infrastructure using value as a key operational ...
