Delayed pneumothorax after transbronchial lung biopsy. [PDF]
A 56-year-old woman underwent a bronchoscopy with transbronchial biopsy for work up of interstitial lung disease. The procedure was uneventful and preprocedure and immediately postprocedure lung ultrasound examinations demonstrated no evidence of pneumothorax ([video 1][1]).

Pulmonary MALT lymphoma diagnosed with transbronchial lung cryobiopsy after unsuccessful transbronchial lung biopsy: a case report [PDF]
Primary pulmonary mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is a rare primary lung neoplasm and a low-grade B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma subtype. Although the prognosis is generally favorable, nonsurgical biopsy methods often have a low diagnostic

Cryoprobe transbronchial lung biopsy with flexible bronchoscope using Arndt endobronchial blocker
Cryoprobe transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB)/transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC) is increasingly being described as an alternative to surgical lung biopsy and provides larger lung biopsy samples as compared with conventional TBLB in patients with ...

Robotic‐Assisted Transbronchial Biopsy of Aortopulmonary Window Lymph Nodes Using Cone‐Beam CT Guidance [PDF]
Sampling aortopulmonary window lymph nodes is technically challenging and often requires surgical approaches. We report a minimally invasive robotic‐assisted transbronchial biopsy of AP window lymph nodes using cone‐beam CT guidance, enabling diagnosis ...

We report a case of pulmonary paragonimiasis diagnosed by transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC). TBLC is likely to be a superior method to transbronchial forceps biopsy because TBLC can get larger specimens, resulting in a higher chance of containing the

Hemothorax as a complication of transbronchial lung cryobiopsy
Key message There are more complications in transbronchial lung cryobiopsy than in a conventional transbronchial lung biopsy. Respiratory endoscopists should be aware of the potential complications, including rare complications such as hemothorax.

Diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Using Endobronchial Ultrasound-Guided Transbronchial Needle
Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial biopsy has emerged as an excellent tool in diagnosing lung cancer. However, its use to diagnose lymphoma has been questioned, since the gold standard for diagnosing lymphomas is an excisional biopsy of ...
