Intraoperative Rapid On‐Site Evaluation (ROSE) vs. Frozen Section in Lung Surgery: A Prospective Study on Diagnostic Speed and Accuracy

Intraoperative frozen‐section assessment for pulmonary lesions prolongs surgery. In 75 patients with 81 samples, we compared rapid on‐site evaluation (ROSE) with frozen section. ROSE greatly reduced diagnostic time with reliable diagnostic accuracy. ROSE represents a valuable auxiliary tool for rapid intraoperative lung‐tumor diagnosis.
