A soft‐compliant hydrogel cuff coating combines real‐time pressure monitoring with intrinsic antibacterial activity for prophylaxis of ventilator‐associated pneumonia. A flexible pressure‐sensing patch is embedded in the coating to enable wireless dynamic monitoring of endotracheal cuff pressure through Bluetooth.

A broadband 180 nm CMOS power amplifier (PA) operating from a frequency bandwidth of 400 MHz to 2.8 GHz is presented in this paper. The PA is integrated with an inductor-less Broadband-Pre-Distorter (BPD) to enhance its linearity for wide bandwidth.

A co‐designed implicit‐reset phase‐frequency detector (PFD) and nonlinear amplifier‐assisted charge pump (CP) achieve dead zone‐free operation from 10 MHz to 4.7 GHz with < 0.5% current mismatch without calibration, enabling −80 dBc of reference spur and 0.50 ps of RMS jitter in a 180 nm of CMOS PLL.
