Methods Based on Polynomial Chaos for Quadratic Delay Differential Equations With Random Parameters

open access: yesPAMM, Volume 26, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT We consider systems of delay differential equations (DDEs), including a single delay and a quadratic right‐hand side. In a system, parameters are replaced by random variables to perform an uncertainty quantification. Thus the solution of the DDEs becomes a random process, which can be represented by a series of the generalised polynomial chaos.

Predictive processing's flirt with transcendental idealism

open access: yesNoûs, Volume 60, Issue 1, Page 87-109, March 2026.
Abstract The popular predictive processing (PP) framework posits prediction error minimization (PEM) as the sole mechanism in the brain that can account for all mental phenomena, including consciousness. I first highlight three ambitions associated with major presentations of PP: (1) Completeness (PP aims for a comprehensive account of mental phenomena)

Personal and relational experiences on meditation journeys following developmental trauma: An IPA study of adults who experienced an inconsistent evolved developmental niche

open access: yesPsychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice, Volume 99, Issue 1, Page 201-218, March 2026.
Abstract Objectives In recent decades, research has increasingly highlighted the devastating effects of childhood trauma and relational processes that violate human development. However, the unique dynamics of such early‐life deprivations in adults who practice meditation, a context where the complexity of such wounding (and healing) may become ...

Macrocyclic Molecular Glues for the 14‐3‐3/ChREBP Interaction: Affinity and Cooperativity in an Inverse Relationship

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 6, 2 February 2026.
Macrocycles are effective molecular glues to stabilize the 14‐3‐3/ChREBP interaction. Linker length modulation uncovered an inverse correlation between the macrocycle binding affinity to 14‐3‐3 and its cooperativity in 14‐3‐3/ChREBP stabilization.

Certainties and the Bedrock of Moral Reasoning: Three Ways the Spade Turns

open access: yesAnalytic Philosophy, Volume 67, Issue 1, Page 12-24, March 2026.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we identify and explain three kinds of bedrock in moral thought. The term “bedrock,” as introduced by Wittgenstein in §217 of the Philosophical Investigations, stands for the end of a chain of reasoning. We affirm that some chains of moral reasoning do indeed end with certainty.
