Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations, 2019
In this paper, we apply transcendental Bernstein series (TBS) for solving reaction–diffusion equations with nonlocal boundary conditions which is the novel approximation tool.

Absolute iteration and the solution of transcendental equations
Journal of the Franklin Institute, 1964Abstract A simple, general method of solving transcendental equations is presented. Quantitative relations concerning the rate of convergence of the process are developed, and several examples are worked.

On the determination of the roots of some classes of transcendental equations
Communications in Applied Numerical Methods, 1986AbstractA new approach is developed for fast, automatic and accurate computation of the roots of some classes of transcendental equations without the risk of missing any one of the roots. The method permits the calculation of as many eigenvalues as desired or any one of them directly, without the need for computing the previous ones.

Special functions, infinite divisibility and transcendental equations
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1979AbstractWe establish integral representations for quotients of Tricomi ψ functions and of several quotients of modified Bessel functions and of linear combinations of them. These integral representations are used to prove the complete monotonicity of the functions considered and to prove the infinite divisibility of a three parameter probability ...

Nonlinear Algebraic or Transcendental Equations with a Parameter
2003Solutions of many typical mathematical problems are often given by sets depending continuously on one parameter and differentiable with respect to this parameter. A continuous smooth curve in a multidimensional space is the simplest example of such a set. For instance, it can be a solution of a system of nonlinear equations with parameter.

The solution of transcendental trigonometric characteristic equations
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 1992A method is proposed for the solution of transcendental trigonometric characteristic equations. The nontrivial roots (eigenvalues) are obtained by means of inverse trigonometric functions and by taking advantage of the fact computers only calculate the principal form of these functions.
