Transcendental equations satisfied by the individual zeros of Riemann $\zeta$, Dirichlet and modular $L$-functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann $\zeta$-function and two classes of $L$-functions; Dirichlet $L$-functions and those based on level one modular forms.

Symbolic expansion of transcendental functions [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Physics Communications, 2002
Higher transcendental function occur frequently in the calculation of Feynman integrals in quantum field theory. Their expansion in a small parameter is a non-trivial task. We report on a computer program which allows the systematic expansion of certain classes of functions. The algorithms are based on the Hopf algebra of nested sums.

ON THE PERIODICITY OF TRANSCENDENTAL ENTIRE FUNCTIONS

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2020
According to a conjecture by Yang, if $f(z)f^{(k)}(z)$ is a periodic function, where $f(z)$ is a transcendental entire function and $k$ is a positive integer, then $f(z)$ is also a periodic function.

Transcendental values of the digamma function

open access: yesJournal of Number Theory, 2007
AbstractLet ψ(x) denote the digamma function, that is, the logarithmic derivative of Euler's Γ-function. Let q be a positive integer greater than 1 and γ denote Euler's constant. We show that all the numbersψ(a/q)+γ,(a,q)=1,1⩽a⩽q, are transcendental. We also prove that at most one of the numbersγ,ψ(a/q),(a,q)=1,1⩽a⩽q, is algebraic.

Transcendentality of ABJM two-point functions [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of High Energy Physics
We compute the two-point function of protected dimension-1 operators in ABJM up to two loops in dimensional regularization. The result exhibits uniform transcendentality empirically, which we conjecture to hold at all orders. We leverage this property to

Analytical Study of the Existence of a Hopf Bifurcation in the Tumor Cell Growth Model with Time Delay

open access: yesInPrime, 2021
In this paper, we study a mathematical model of an immune response system consisting of a number of immune cells that work together to protect the human body from invading tumor cells.

A Brief Study on Julia Sets in the Dynamics of Entire Transcendental Function Using Mann Iterative Scheme

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
In this research, we look at the Julia set patterns that are linked to the entire transcendental function f(z)=aezn+bz+c, where a,b,c∈C and n≥2, using the Mann iterative scheme, and discuss their dynamical behavior.

Quantum circuits design for evaluating transcendental functions based on a function-value binary expansion method [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2020
Quantum arithmetic in the computational basis constitutes the fundamental component of many circuit-based quantum algorithms. There exist a lot of studies about reversible implementations of algebraic functions, while research on the higher-level ...

The Functions of Transcendental Ego in Kant's Epistemology [PDF]

open access: yesحکمت و فلسفه, 2019
Kant's transcendental ego is the absolute and final subject which constitutes the logical foundation of knowledge and experience. It is completely subjective, and as the most necessary and fundamental element in Kant's epistemology is involved in any ...
