Traces on the Sklyanin algebra and correlation functions of the eight-vertex model
We propose a conjectural formula for correlation functions of the Z-invariant (inhomogeneous) eight-vertex model. We refer to this conjecture as Ansatz.

The growth of entire functions in the terms of generalized orders
Let $Phi$ be a convex function on $[x_0,+infty)$ such that$frac{Phi(x)}xo+infty$, $xo+infty$, $f(z)=sum_{n=0}^infty a_nz^n$--- a transcendental entire function, let $M(r,f)$ be the maximum modulus of$f$ and let$$ho_Phi(f)=varlimsup_{ro +infty}frac{lnln M(

Value Distribution of Certain Type of Difference Polynomials
We investigate the value distribution of difference product f(z)n∑i=1kaif(z+ci), for n≥2 and n=1, respectively, where f(z) is a transcendental entire function of finite order and ai,ci are constants satisfying ∑i=1kaif(z+ci)≢0.

Brushing the hairs of transcendental entire functions
Let f be a hyperbolic transcendental entire function of finite order in the Eremenko-Lyubich class (or a finite composition of such maps), and suppose that f has a unique Fatou component. We show that the Julia set of $f$ is a Cantor bouquet; i.e. is ambiently homeomorphic to a straight brush in the sense of Aarts and Oversteegen.

The Dispute between Gilson and Maritain over Thomist Realism [PDF]
This paper considers the proper location and function of critique in establishing a Thomist realism. The author begins by providing a brief explanation of Étienne Gilson’s understanding of critique and why he thinks a “critical realism” is incoherent ...

Finding of roots of the matrix transcendental characteristic equation using Lambert W function
The method of finding roots of the matrix transcendental characteristic equation, corresponding to linear matrix differential equation with delayed argument, is analyzed. The examples of the application of the method are presented.

Wypieranie Wody przez Gaz Wtłaczany do Wielowarstwowego Pokładu
By solving an equation of the heat conduction type, with appropriate initial and boundary conditions, a function is obtained expressing the pressure distribution in the wet zone of a multi-layer deposit. A transcendental equation is obtained enabling the

Splitting Hairs with Transcendental Entire Functions
Abstract In recent years, there has been significant progress in the understanding of the dynamics of transcendental entire functions with bounded postsingular set. In particular, for certain classes of such functions, a complete description of their topological dynamics in terms of a simpler model has been given inspired by methods from
