The radial action from probe amplitudes to all orders

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We extract the relativistic classical radial action from scattering amplitudes, to all orders in perturbation theory, in the probe limit. Our sources include point charges and monopoles, as well as the Schwarzschild and pure-NUT gravitational backgrounds.

In Situ Graph Reasoning and Knowledge Expansion Using Graph‐PRefLexOR

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Graph‐PRefLexOR is a novel framework that enhances language models with in situ graph reasoning, symbolic abstraction, and recursive refinement. By integrating graph‐based representations into generative tasks, the approach enables interpretable, multistep reasoning.

The Problem of Transcendentalist “Adaptation” of the Principle of Ultimate Justification: Transcendental Pragmatics vs Transcendental Phenomenology

open access: yesФілософія освіти
The article investigates the conditions and limits of a transcendental reinterpretation of the principle of ultimate (final) justification, carried out within Apel’s philosophical project (where this principle acquires the status of a methodological ...

Spiritual and religious information experiences: An Annual Review of Information Science and Technology (ARIST) paper

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract This chapter examines the contours of the religious and spiritual information experiences subfield through a review and content analysis of selected contributions from the past two decades in both information science and related fields. The research question that guides this review is: How have spirituality and religion been conceptualized in ...

Full spectrum of the Rabi model

open access: yes, 2013
It is shown that in the Rabi model, for an integer value of the spectral parameter $x$, in addition to the finite number of the classical Judd states there exist infinitely many possible eigenstates.

In search of existential authenticity: Information behaviors during a time of personal transformation

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract Many people make changes to their lives to provide a greater sense of value, purpose, or coherence to their everyday existence. One goal in making such changes is to improve their sense of existential authenticity, a feeling that their lives are being lived in what they see as meaningful and productive ways.

Semiconjugacies, pinched Cantor bouquets and hyperbolic orbifolds

open access: yes, 2009
Let f be a transcendental entire map that is subhyperbolic, i.e., the intersection of the Fatou set F(f) and the postsingular set P(f) is compact and the intersection of the Julia set J(f) and P(f) is finite.

Reception Baseline Assessment and ‘small acts’ of micro‐resistance

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract In September 2021, following the global COVID‐19 pandemic, the Department for Education introduced a national standardised digital Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) for all English 4‐year‐old children. We analyse RBA and its associated Quality Monitoring Visits, as a further intensification of the new public management of early years ...

Hopf Algebras and Transcendental Numbers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In dealing with multiple zeta values, the main diophantine challenge is to prove that known dependence relations among them suffice to deduce all algebraic relations. One tool which should be relevant is the structure of Hopf Algebras, which occurs in several disguises in this context.
