P-Adic Transcendental Numbers [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1990
Explicit sets of cardinality 2'o of p-adic numbers which are algebraically independent over Qp are constructed. Let Qp be the p-adic completion of Q for a prime p. Let Qp be the algebraic closure of Qp, and Cp be its p-adic completion which is an algebraically closed field of cardinality 2"O .

Пространство, время и число в быту, физике и математике [PDF]

open access: yesФилософия и космология, 2012
The ontology and genealogy of the concepts of «space», «time» and «number» cover a vast hierarchical system of general philosophical, everyday and scientific categories.

Full spectrum of the Rabi model

open access: yes, 2013
It is shown that in the Rabi model, for an integer value of the spectral parameter $x$, in addition to the finite number of the classical Judd states there exist infinitely many possible eigenstates.

Linear and algebraic independence of Generalized Euler-Briggs constants

open access: yes, 2016
Possible transcendental nature of Euler's constant $\gamma$ has been the focus of study for sometime now. One possible approach is to consider $\gamma$ not in isolation, but as an element of the infinite family of generalised Euler-Briggs constants. In a

Reception Baseline Assessment and ‘small acts’ of micro‐resistance

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract In September 2021, following the global COVID‐19 pandemic, the Department for Education introduced a national standardised digital Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA) for all English 4‐year‐old children. We analyse RBA and its associated Quality Monitoring Visits, as a further intensification of the new public management of early years ...

Meta‐Virtuality: Strategies of Disembeddedness in Virtual Interiorities

open access: yesJournal of Interior Design, EarlyView., 2022
ABSTRACT To reclaim their seat in the rapidly growing market of virtual space, designers of the built environment can benefit from reevaluating theories that see the virtual as a mere extension/reflection of the physical. By claiming ontological autonomy from external worlds, the virtual is liberated from the hegemonic control of the physical.

Phenomenology of Online Education. The Other’s Look (J.-P. Sartre) and Intersubjective Perceptual Phantasy (E. Husserl) [PDF]

open access: yesPhainomena, 2019
This article applies classical phenomenological notions for new modes of communication, namely, online learning. It is stated that empirical communication of online learning presupposes a multilayered transcendental intersubjective structure which might ...

Sequence‐Dependent Heterotypic Assemblies of Intrinsically Disordered Peptides

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Two oppositely charged intrinsically disordered peptides (IDPs) coassemble into heterotypic nanofibers. Homochiral mixtures (L/L IDPs) form homogeneous, aligned bundles with the more positive IDP. Heterochiral mixtures (L/D IDPs) yield heterogeneous, twisted bundles as positive‐IDP content increases.

Advances in Parahydrogen‐Induced Polarization for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Peptides, Proteins, and Biopolymers

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Hyperpolarization by parahydrogen‐induced polarization enhances the sensitivity of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of amino acids, peptides, mini‐proteins, and biopolymers using nonnatural amino acids with unsaturated side chains up to three orders of magnitude.

The completed finite period map and Galois theory of supercongruences

open access: yes, 2017
A period is a complex number arising as the integral of a rational function with algebraic number coefficients over a rationally-defined region. Although periods are typically transcendental numbers, there is a conjectural Galois theory of periods coming
