Organoid Brain‐Machine‐Interface Devices for Central Nervous System Repair
We envision organoid brain‐machine‐interface (Organoid‐BMI) devices as new biohybrid bidirectional communication pathways to connect the human CNS and the external world for personalized CNS repair and regeneration. ABSTRACT Central nervous system (CNS) repair and regeneration suffer from tremendous clinical challenges due to current limitations in ...

Polydopamine nanoparticles enable a precise, non‐genetic, and transcranial neuromodulation strategy via near‐infrared photothermal stimulation. By activating TRPV1 channels, this approach specifically enhances hippocampal gamma oscillations, thereby rescuing spatial memory deficits in models of perioperative neurocognitive disorder.

Abstract Objective This study was undertaken to evaluate the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of low‐intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) as a noninvasive neuromodulation technique in patients with drug‐resistant epilepsy (DRE). Methods In this pilot, single‐blind, randomized sham‐controlled crossover trial, 12 patients with DRE underwent both LIFU and

Therapeutic use of transcranial ultrasound for epilepsy: A review
Up to 40 % of people with epilepsy (PwE) suffer from drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE). Despite the approval of novel anti-seizure medication (ASM), a significant treatment gap persists, emphasizing the need for alternative therapies.
