Stability Regions and Bifurcation Analysis of a Delayed Tumor Therapy Model Using Oncolytic Virus

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We consider the dynamics of a tumor therapy model using oncolytic viruses with time delay. The model is a two‐dimensional system of ordinary differential equations with a delay term that represents the latent period required for viral replication following the infection of tumor cells.

Bifurcation Behavior Analysis in a Predator-Prey Model

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2016
A predator-prey model is studied mathematically and numerically. The aim is to explore how some key factors influence dynamic evolutionary mechanism of steady conversion and bifurcation behavior in predator-prey model.

Bifurcations and Structures of the Parameter Space of a Discrete-Time SIS Epidemic Model

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
The dynamics of a discrete-time SIS epidemic model are reported in this paper. Three types of codimension one bifurcation, namely, transcritical, flip, Neimark–Sacker (N-S) bifurcations, and their intersection codimension two bifurcations including 1 : 2,

Lyapunov Stability and Optimization of a Fractional‐Order HIV/AIDS Model Coupling Vertical Transmission With Saturated Treatment

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This research introduces a fractional‐order nonlinear model for the dynamics of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) using Caputo‐type derivatives of noninteger order. Solution properties of the model are investigated by analyzing positivity and boundedness characteristics via the generalized mean value ...

Strategic Awareness‐Driven Control of Tuberculosis Dynamics: A Differential Equation Framework

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study develops a deterministic differential equation framework to investigate tuberculosis (TB) transmission while incorporating patient awareness as a behavioral factor influencing treatment initiation and disease dynamics. A core methodological innovation of this study is the explicit integration of behavioral determinants specifically patient ...

Analysis of a Fractional‐Order Mathematical Model on Crime Dynamics Incorporating Police Force and Rehabilitation

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study addresses the limitation of traditional integer‐order crime models that fail to capture memory‐dependent dynamics in criminal behavior. Our objective is to develop and analyze a novel fractional‐order model incorporating media influence, police force, and rehabilitation strategies using the Liouville−Caputo derivative.

The Effects of Fluctuating Carrying Capacity on the Dynamics of a Holling‐Type III Predator–Prey Model

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study investigates the complex dynamics of a predator–prey system governed by the classical Lotka–Volterra model incorporating a Holling‐type III. To capture environmental variability, the prey’s carrying capacity is modeled as a periodic function, introducing a time‐dependent forcing into the system.

Continuation‐Enhanced Harmonic Balance Method for Nonlinear Dynamics in Rotating Machinery

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Nonlinear response conception in rotating machinery, particularly in systems with squeeze film dampers (SFDs), pose significant challenges for established time‐domain numerical methods due to bifurcations and critical points along the response trajectories.

Diffusive Resource–Consumer Dynamics With the Simplest Learning Mechanism and Nonlocal Memory Usage

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 18, Page 16433-16444, December 2025.
ABSTRACT To describe cognitive consumers' movement, we study a diffusive resource–consumer model with nonlocal memory usage described by a system of parabolic equations, which is coupled with spatial memory dynamics described by a linear learning equation.

Rich Dynamics of a Predator-Prey System with Different Kinds of Functional Responses

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this study, we investigate a mathematical model that describes the interactive dynamics of a predator-prey system with different kinds of response function. The positivity, boundedness, and uniform persistence of the system are established.
