Multi‐state Photoswitching in Thienoquinoid‐Based Fluorescent Trithiophenes
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.A methine‐bridged trithiophene with a thienoquinoid core undergoes photoisomerization of both C═C bonds, affording three geometrical isomers in a ratio controlled by the irradiation wavelength. Despite full π‐conjugation, the system retains fluorescence, enabling wavelength‐addressable multi‐state switching with luminescent readout.
