We have developed a smart hair‐repair ingredient based on β‐carboxylic acid amide that undergoes negative‐to‐positive charge conversion under mildly acidic conditions. The initial negative charge facilitates deep penetration into the hair fiber, while the subsequent positive charge enables re‐bonding with sulfonate groups in damaged hair keratin.

Using iPSC‐derived motoneurons and postmortem tissue from FUS‐ALS patients, it is demonstrated that increased mitochondrial transcription leads to elevated cytosolic double‐stranded RNA (dsRNA) levels. This aberrant accumulation activates a RIG‐I–dependent innate immune response leading to neurodegeneration, which is amenable for FDA‐ and EMA‐approved ...

Vacancy‐Suppressed Garnet Electrolytes for Durable Solid‐State Batteries
A Li/O‐rich sintering strategy effectively suppresses intrinsic lithium and oxygen vacancies in cubic garnet electrolytes, yielding a dense and stable microstructure. The vacancy‐controlled electrolyte exhibits enhanced interfacial and air stability, enabling long‐term solid‐state battery cycling and providing a general design principle for defect ...
