Transducer and transducer measurement system for the PC
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1988The measurement of several acoustic transducers using a measurement system that is implemented on the PC will be shown. This system uses the ARIEL DSP-16 and a PC-6300. The software developed for this purpose, which is called SYSid, was developed first about 8 years ago, and in the past few years was ported to the PC.

The Wedged Transducer — A Transducer Design for Broad Band Characteristics
Ultrasonic Imaging, 1979This paper presents a method of increasing the bandwidth of transducers feeding low acoustic impedance loads such as fluids and of electrically matching them over the full bandwidth. It consists of interposing between the transducer and the actual load, a wedge made out of a material having the desired acoustic impedance.
