Transfer Function Synthesis in the Time Domain an Extension of Levy's Method

IEEE Transactions on Education, 1965
This paper attempts to extend Levy's method of the time domain. If the impulse response of a system is given and its transfer function is desired, we use gate functions to convert the transient response and then apply Levy's technique. The high accuracy of the results of the new approach is demonstrated by two examples. A detailed digital computer flow

Empirical Vibration Synthesis Method for Electric Machines by Transfer Functions and Electromagnetic Analysis

IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2016
This paper proposes an accurate empirical vibration synthesis methodology for the vibration response of electric machines. The proposed method enables designers of the electric machines to synthesize the vibration response of mechanical components that are connected to the electric machine's stator, for given magnetic force profiles.

Characteristic transfer function matrix-based linear feedback control system analysis and synthesis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Control, 2009
In this article, the concept of control system synthesis via a method using the characteristic transfer function matrix (CTFM), is explained. Then, the formal definition of CTFM and the associated concept of connectivity are presented.
