Un corps d’élève décerné par un professeur ; une étude de cas sur le « stade du miroir » en EPS

open access: yeseJournal de la Recherche sur l'Intervention en Éducation Physique et Sport, 2021
This case study shows, from the conceptual and methodological field of psychoanalytic clinic, that, in PSE, a student’s speech is not only verbalization or communication and that effective teaching gestures (allowing students to improve access to their ...

Kissing numbers and transference theorems from generalized tail bounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We generalize Banaszczyk's seminal tail bound for the Gaussian mass of a lattice to a wide class of test functions. From this we obtain quite general transference bounds, as well as bounds on the number of lattice points contained in certain bodies.

Description of interhemispheric disconnection syndrome in a patient with Marchiafava-Bignami disease [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Interhemispheric disconnection syndrome (IDS), described by Sperry, Gazzaniga and Bogen, is characterized by the presence of visual and tactile anomia, absence of interhemispheric transference of unilateral somatosensory stimulation of both hands ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

A Lacanian Approach to Medical Demand, With a Focus on Pediatric Genetics: A Plea for Subjectivization

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2018
Current psychological research on contemporary medicine, and in particular genetics, often targets the underpinnings of patients’ attitudes and behaviors with respect to biomedical knowledge and healthcare practices.

Spectral multiplier theorems for abstract harmonic oscillators on UMD lattices

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique, 2023
We consider operators acting on a UMD Banach lattice $X$ that have the same algebraic structure as the position and momentum operators associated with the harmonic oscillator $-\frac{1}{2}\Delta + \frac{1}{2}|x|^{2} $ acting on $L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{d ...

The group reduction for bounded cosine functions on UMD spaces

open access: yes, 2007
It is shown that if A generates a bounded cosine operator function on a UMD space X, then i(-A)^{1/2} generates a bounded C_0-group.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

The Absence of Love and Hopes of Shion Uzuki in the Xenosaga Trilogy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Among video games, The Xenosaga Trilogy is widely recognized due to its complex storyline. The psychological struggle of the main character, Shion Uzuki, is one of the aspects that drives the story from the beginning up to its conclusion.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
