Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion [PDF]
The lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) is a relatively new technique that allows the surgeon to access the intervertebral space from a direct lateral approach either anterior to or through the psoas muscle.

Surgical Outcome of Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion [PDF]
Back Ground Data: Minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MTLIF) has become increasingly popular arthrodesis procedure. It is preferred to treat mechanical back pain due to the advantage of obtaining a circumferential arthrodesis via a

Mini-Open Versus Open Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion in Patients Aged ≥ 75 Years: Perioperative Surgical Burden and Clinical Outcomes. [PDF]
In 172 patients aged ≥ 75 years undergoing TLIF, mini‐open TLIF (MO‐TLIF) reduced perioperative burden (shorter operative time, less blood loss, lower POD3 CK) and enabled faster early pain/function recovery versus open TLIF, while 3–6 month PROMs and 12‐month fusion and satisfaction were comparable.

Clinical and Radiological Outcomes of Monosegmental Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion for High-Grade Spondylolisthesis: A 3-Year Observational Study. [PDF]
In this study, we performed two approaches of MIS‐TLIF and percutaneous pedicle screw fixation to offer safe and effective treatment of high‐grade spondylolisthesis with satisfactory clinical and radiological outcomes. ABSTRACT Objective High‐grade isthmic spondylolisthesis remains surgically controversial, and evidence on minimally invasive, single ...

Risk Factors and Clinical Significance for Retrolisthesis of Adjacent Segment After Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion. [PDF]
Preoperative degeneration of endplates, facet joints, and paraspinal muscles, along with intraoperative facet violation, are key predictors of retrolisthesis after TLIF, leading to worse pain and functional outcomes. ABSTRACT Objective Adjacent segment retrolisthesis is a common yet frequently overlooked complication after lumbar fusion, which may lead

Uniportal Endoscopic Lumbar Interbody Fusion [PDF]
The cause of radiculopathy is the compression of the nerve root which can be secondary to sliding of the vertebra and reduced disc height. In some patients, decompression alone does not resolve this problem.
