The PRIMA Thesaurus for Materials Science and Engineering
The PRIMA Thesaurus is a structured vocabulary designed to improve how materials science data is described and shared. Developed with input from multiple experts, it enables clear documentation of research workflows, data exchange, and reuse across platforms.

Denoising in the lapped transform domain
2003 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2003. Proceedings. (ICASSP '03)., 2004In this paper, we extend the results of the denoising in the wavelet domain to the lapped transform (LT) domain. The LT coefficients are rearranged into the octave based representation, and their statistics are modeled by the same methods as the wavelet coefficients.

Domain analysis for transformational reuse
Proceedings of the Fourth Working Conference on Reverse Engineering, 2002Domain analysis is an effective technique for enabling both reuse and reverse engineering. The paper shows how domain analysis can provide a framework for combining reverse engineering and forward engineering to implement transformational reuse for information system user interfaces.

Noise masking in a transform domain
IEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speech and Signal Processing, 1993A.P. Varga and K.M. Ponting (1989) have demonstrated that the noise masking algorithm can provide effective noise compensation, leading to robust speech recognition with almost undegraded performance down to signal-to-noise ratios as low as 3 dB in stationary pink noise. Noise compensation techniques have been limited to the log energy spectral domain,

Transforming triangulations in polygonal domains
Computer Aided Geometric Design, 1993Triangulations of a polygonal domain in the plane are the basic for many algorithms in the fields of finite element methods, scattered data interpolation, computational geometry etc. The efficiency of such algorithms frequently depends on the special triangulation.

Transform domain IIR filtering
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1995The paper provides a generalization on the concept of the transform domain filtering (TDF). TDF is block-based filtering, or vector-filtering, applied to transform domain data to get the effect of desired time domain filtering. The result is transform domain IIR filtering (IIR-TDF) and it takes in the existing TDF, or FIR-TDF, as its special case.

Transform domain analysis of DES
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1999Summary: The Data Encryption Standard (DES) can be regarded as a nonlinear feedback shift register with input. From this point of view, the tools for pseudo-random sequence analysis are applied to the \(S\)-boxes in DES. The properties of the \(S\)-boxes of DES under Fourier transform, Hadamard transform, extended Hadamard transform, and Avalanche ...

Gabor transform domain watermarking
Proceedings 2001 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.01CH37205), 2002The transform domain is the most commonly used space for watermarking applications. Most of the common frequency transforms have been used for this purpose. We investigate the use of the Gabor (1946) transform in traditional watermarking schemes. A casting method and detection results are thoroughly examined.

Time-domain cepstral transformations
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1993The realization of homomorphic systems for convolution is addressed, motivated by the limitations of the Fourier-transform-based method commonly used in homomorphic (complex cepstral) filtering. The time-domain cepstral transformation (TDCT) method, which is entirely based on time-domain calculations, thus avoiding or minimizing the problems associated
