Unscented Transformation based array interpolation
It is impossible to enforce exact responses for each sensor involved in an antenna array. Important signal processing techniques such as Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance (ESPRIT), Forward Backward Average (FBA) and Spatial Smoothing (SPS) rely on sensor arrays with Vandermonde or centro-hermitian responses.

AbstractIn this article, a meshless barycentric interpolation collocation method (BICM) with coordinate transformation is proposed to solve the governing partial differential equations (PDEs) for bending, free vibration and buckling problems of irregular plates.

Scale and move transformation-based fuzzy rule interpolation with interval type-2 fuzzy sets [PDF]
In support of reasoning with sparse rule bases, fuzzy rule interpolation (FRI) offers a helpful inference mechanism for deriving an approximate conclusion when a given observation has no overlap with any rule in the existing rule base. One of the recent and popular FRI approaches is the scale and move transformation-based rule interpolation, known as T-

Isoparametric transformation was applied to the interpolation-supplemented lattice Boltzmann method (ISLBM). As a result, it can be applied to arbitrarily structural grids and reserve the simple procedure of ISLBM. The simulation of the lid-driven cavity flow and the flow around a cylinder were performed to validate the proposed method.

Nonlinear Pyramid Transforms Based on Median-Interpolation
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2000Summary: We introduce a nonlinear refinement subdivision scheme based on median-inter-polation. The scheme constructs a polynomial interpolating adjacent block medians of an underlying object. The interpolating polynomial is then used to impute block medians at the next finer triadic scale.

Transformation Based Backward Fuzzy Rule Interpolation with Multiple Missing Antecedent Values
S-BFRI Jin S, Diao R, Shen Q (Backward fuzzy interpolation and extrapolation with multiple multi-antecedent rules, pp 1170–1177, 2012 [1]) enables a missing antecedent value to be interpolated in a backward fashion by exploiting the other given antecedents and the consequent.

Scale and move transformation-based fuzzy interpolative reasoning: a revisit
2004 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37542), 2005This paper generalises the previously proposed interpolative reasoning method to cover the interpolations involving the complex polygon, Gaussian or other bell-shaped fuzzy membership functions. This can be achieved by the generality of the proposed scale and move transformations.

Robust nonlinear wavelet transform based on median-interpolation
Conference Record of the Thirty-First Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers (Cat. No.97CB36136), 2002It is well known that wavelet transforms can be derived from stationary linear refinement subdivision schemes. We discuss a special nonlinear refinement subdivision scheme-median-interpolation. It is a nonlinear cousin of Deslauriers-Dubuc (1992) interpolation and of average-interpolation.
