Nucleation and growth transformation kinetics
Physical Review B, 1995As a result of the reassessment of the Kolmogorov-Johnson-Mehl-Avrami (KJMA) theory for the kinetics of nucleation and growth transformations, an integral-equation formulation has been developed instead of the well-known and widely used Avrami equation.

Kinetics of the bainite transformation
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 2004Summary: A theory is developed for the evolution of bainite as a function of time, temperature, chemical composition and austenite grain size. The model takes into account the details of the mechanism of transformation, including the fact that nucleation begins at the austenite grain surfaces, and that the growth of a sheaf occurs by the repeated ...

On Solutions of the Kinetic Model by Sumudu Transform
2023This paper investigates the kinetic model with four different fractional derivatives. We obtain the solutions of the models by Sumudu transform and demonstrate our results with some figures. We prove the accuracy of the Sumudu transform by some theoretical results and applications.

Soil Science Society of America Journal, 1981
Abstract Phosphorous in concentrations exceeding those generally observed through agricultural activities has been encountered at land application wastewater treatment sites. To predict the environmental impact of these systems, a model was developed to describe the reaction of orthophosphate with mineral soils ...

Kinetic Study of the Polymorphic Transformations of Phenylbutazone
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1984The polymorphic transformations of phenylbutazone from metastable forms alpha and beta to stable form delta were studied quantitatively at four temperature and five humidity levels by X-ray powder diffractometry. The transformation of form alpha conformed with the Avrami-Erofe'ev kinetic model and form beta conformed with apparent first-order kinetics.

Kinetics of the amorphous-to-nanocrystalline transformation in Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9
Journal of Applied Physics, 1993Isothermal measurements of the electrical resistance R were performed in samples of the alloy Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 at temperatures where the nanocrystalline phase develops. At each temperature, nanocrystallization is associated to a very slow decrease of R(t) compared to conventional crystallization processes.

Supramolecular Polymer Transformation: A Kinetic Study
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2014Investigation of supramolecular kinetics is essential for elucidating self-assembly mechanisms. Recently, we reported on a noncovalent system involving a bolaamphiphilic perylene diimide dimer that is kinetically trapped in water but can rearrange into a different, more ordered assembly in water/THF mixtures ( Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.

Kinetics of phase transformation on a Bethe lattice
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2004A kinetic Ising model is applied to the description of phase transformations on a Bethe lattice. A closed set of kinetic equations for a model with the coordination number q=3 is obtained using a procedure developed in a previous paper. For T close to Tc (T>Tc), where Tc is the phase transition temperature, and zero external field (absence of ...
