The kinetics of lath martensitic transformation
The multicomponent solution thermodynamics, a model for barrierless heterogeneous martensitic nucleation, a model for the composition and temperature dependence of the shear modulus, and a set of unique interfacial kinetic parameters are integrated to model the kinetics of lath martensitic transformation.

Kinetics of mechanochemical transformations
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2020To help understanding the mechanisms underlying mechanochemical transformations, we propose a kinetic model that relates macroscopic and microscopic scales while accounting for the statistical nature of the mechanical processing of powder.

Kinetics of chromium transformations in the environment
Science of The Total Environment, 1989Kinetics of chromium transformations under typical environmental conditions were systematically investigated using batch, microcosm and column experiments. Oxidation and reduction rates were evaluated in single phase water systems and in two phase water-solid systems.

Nucleation and growth transformation kinetics
Physical Review B, 1995As a result of the reassessment of the Kolmogorov-Johnson-Mehl-Avrami (KJMA) theory for the kinetics of nucleation and growth transformations, an integral-equation formulation has been developed instead of the well-known and widely used Avrami equation.

In the above, a phase transition was viewed as resulting from changing a control parameter, such as T or p, across a phase boundary, say a coexistence line, of the system’s phase diagram. In practice, such a transformation, of say a liquid phase into a crystal phase, will however require a considerable amount of molecular scale reorganization, and this

Kinetics of the bainite transformation
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 2004Summary: A theory is developed for the evolution of bainite as a function of time, temperature, chemical composition and austenite grain size. The model takes into account the details of the mechanism of transformation, including the fact that nucleation begins at the austenite grain surfaces, and that the growth of a sheaf occurs by the repeated ...

On Solutions of the Kinetic Model by Sumudu Transform
2023This paper investigates the kinetic model with four different fractional derivatives. We obtain the solutions of the models by Sumudu transform and demonstrate our results with some figures. We prove the accuracy of the Sumudu transform by some theoretical results and applications.

Kinetic Study of the Polymorphic Transformations of Phenylbutazone
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1984The polymorphic transformations of phenylbutazone from metastable forms alpha and beta to stable form delta were studied quantitatively at four temperature and five humidity levels by X-ray powder diffractometry. The transformation of form alpha conformed with the Avrami-Erofe'ev kinetic model and form beta conformed with apparent first-order kinetics.
