Architectural Coordination of Enterprise Transformation

2017
Architectural coordination of enterprise transformation (ACET) integrates and aggregates local information and provides different viewpoints, such as financial, structural, or skill perspectives to the respective stakeholder groups, with the aim of creating a consensus and shared understanding of an enterprise transformation among the stakeholders. Its

Transformations of coordinate systems

2016
When dealing with descriptions of structures, it is not seldom that we are faced with the problem of comparing identical crystal structures described with respect to different coordinate systems. For example, two descriptions of the same structure can differ by an origin shift or by a different choice of the basis. Different phases of the same compound

Symbolic Representation of Coordinate Transformations

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Navigational Electronics, 1964
An analytical technique using a symbolic representation of the coordinate transformation for a rotation of axes is presented. The representation has the advantages of a signal flow diagram and yet retains the properties of a transformation matrix. A sign convention and the characteristics of the symbolic representation are defined.

Transformation of Coordinates; Matrices

2009
One important aspect in the solution of physical and engineering problems is the choice of coordinate systems. The right choice may considerably reduce the degree of difficulty and the length of the necessary computations.

Transformation of systems of coordinates

1966
In many problems of mathematical physics it is better to use an orthogonal coordinate system u, v, winstead of the cartesian coordinates x, y, z. The choice of a particular coordinate system may be motivated by physical reason and can result in a considerably simplified analysis of the problem.

Reaction Coordinates and Pathways of Mechanochemical Transformations

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2015
The notions of a reaction path and a reaction coordinate are central to chemistry as they provide low-dimensional descriptions of complex molecular processes. Here we discuss how to define, compute, and use the reaction paths for chemical transformations in molecules that are subjected to mechanical stress and thus driven toward regions of ...

Design of a phase transformer using coordinate transformation theory

2008 IEEE PhotonicsGlobal@Singapore, 2008
New electromagnetic devices with extraordinary characteristics have been designed by form-invariant coordinate transformation of Maxwell's equations successfully. Here, a phase transformer was designed in this way. The wave front can change from cylindrical to plane through this transformer with a slab structure and the propagation direction of ...

Invariance property of coordinate transformation

Journal of Spatial Science, 2017
Is coordinate transformation invariant with respect to coordinate systems? Intuitively one assumes so, but the answer is more complex as in some cases it is invariant and in some cases it is not.

Determination of coordinate transformations in UAVS

2016 Second International Conference on Cognitive Computing and Information Processing (CCIP), 2016
Estimation of vehicle attitude during autonomous flying of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can be performed with Global Positioning System (GPS). But when vehicle is flying this method results in error, hence another approach i.e., Direction Cosine Matrix (DCM) is used.

On transformations of generalised coordinates as symmetry transformations

Journal of Elasticity, 1984
We determine transformations of generalised coordinates which can be used as symmetry transformations for simple materials. We also find the general forms of the constitutive equation for isotropic and fluid shells.
