Semigroups of order-decreasing transformations [PDF]
Let X be a totally ordered set and consider the semigroups of orderdecreasing (increasing) full (partial, partial one-to-one) transformations of X. In this Thesis the study of order-increasing full (partial, partial one-to-one) transformations has been

Solvability and Boundedness in Chemotaxis‐Consumption Models With Oppositely Acting Nonlocal Sources
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate a chemotaxis system featuring a class of external source terms that incorporate both local and nonlocal growth as well as dampening effects. The model describes the evolution of a cell density u$$ u $$, which migrates in response to a chemical signal v$$ v $$, within an impermeable habitat.

In this thesis we consider in detail the following two fundamental problems for semigroup presentations: 1. Given a semigroup find a presentation defining it. 2. Given a presentation describe the semigroup defined by it.

Centralizers in the Full Transformation Semigroup [PDF]
The authors study centralizers of elements in the full transformation semigroup on an arbitrary set. The main result is a rather technical criterion for a transformation to belong to the centralizer of another transformation, given in terms of connected components of the action graph.

ABSTRACT This paper proposes a boundary control method for nonlinear distributed parameter systems (DPSs) with limited boundary measurements (BMs), as typically encountered in networked cyber‐physical processes with spatially distributed dynamics such as thermal and biomedical diffusion systems.

On orders of two transformation semigroups of the boolean
We consider the semigroup $\mathcal{O}(\mathcal{B}_n)$ of all order-preserving transformations $\varphi : \mathcal{B}_n \rightarrow \mathcal{B}_n$ of ordered by inclusion boolean $\mathcal{B}_n$ of $n$-element set (i.e.

Measure‐valued processes for energy markets
Abstract We introduce a framework that allows to employ (non‐negative) measure‐valued processes for energy market modeling, in particular for electricity and gas futures. Interpreting the process' spatial structure as time to maturity, we show how the Heath–Jarrow–Morton approach can be translated to this framework, thus guaranteeing arbitrage free ...

Context‐free graphs and their transition groups
Abstract Starting from context‐free inverse graphs, we introduce a new class of groups and study their structural properties. We establish closure properties, show that their coword problems are context‐free, analyze torsion elements, and realize them as subgroups of the asynchronous rational group.

Classification of Solution Operators Semigroups for Abstract Cauchy Problems
The paper is devoted to studying solution operators semigroups and its generators for abstract Cauchy problem in Banach space. It is considered two types of families — "classical” that defined on whole Banach space and possesses the semigroup property ...

Let T(X)T\left(X) be the full transformation semigroup on a set XX. For an equivalence EE on XX, let TE∗(X)={α∈T(X):∀x,y∈X,(x,y)∈E⇔(xα,yα)∈E}.{T}_{{E}^{\ast }}\left(X)=\left\{\alpha \in T\left(X):\forall x,y\in X,\left(x,y)\in E\iff \left(x\alpha ,y ...
