Implementation of three-phase transformer model in radial load-flow analysis

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2013
This paper presents an efficient approach for developing three-phase transformer admittance matrices in the radial power-flow analysis. The proposed transformer model overcomes the singularity problem of the nodal admittance submatrices of ungrounded ...

Transformer regulated self-stabilizing chopper [PDF]

open access: yes, 1969
A self-stabilizing voltage regulator is described. Direct current voltage regulation employing a series transistor rendered conductive during various portions of a cycle is controlled by saturation of an autotransformer. The constant volt-second capacity

Clinical applications of next‐generation sequencing‐based ctDNA analyses in breast cancer: defining treatment targets and dynamic changes during disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 7, Page 1897-1917, July 2025.
Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a possibility for different applications in early and late stage breast cancer management. In early breast cancer tumor informed approaches are increasingly used for detecting molecular residual disease (MRD) and early recurrence. In advanced stage, ctDNA provides a possibility for monitoring disease progression and

Thermofluidic investigations of oil natural transformer: Closed‐loop modelling and experimental validation

open access: yesHigh Voltage
Excessively high temperatures inside a power transformer can accelerate the ageing rate and even cause unplanned outages. Accurately estimating the hot‐spot temperature (HST) of a power transformer is important for regulating the load and ensuring long ...

Recurrent Spatial Transformer Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We integrate the recently proposed spatial transformer network (SPN) [Jaderberg et. al 2015] into a recurrent neural network (RNN) to form an RNN-SPN model. We use the RNN-SPN to classify digits in cluttered MNIST sequences. The proposed model achieves a

Transformational Logic and Social Transformation

open access: yesWISDOM, 2016
This paper presents the basics of Academic Brutian’s conception of transformational logic and the application of its methodological means to the study of optimal ways for transforming former socialist system of Armenia into social state in the frame of capitalist free market economy.

Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 7, Page 2092-2108, July 2025.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

An iteration-based design algorithm for high frequency transformer in SSTs and its validation by finite element analysis

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Applied Science
This paper proposes an iteration-based algorithm for the optimum design of a high frequency transformer for solid-state transformer (SST) applications.

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 7, Page 1935-1967, July 2025.
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

KRAS and GNAS mutations in cell‐free DNA and in circulating epithelial cells in patients with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms—an observational pilot study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 7, Page 2144-2153, July 2025.
This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...
