Novel Transformer Fault Identification Optimization Method Based on Mathematical Statistics

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Most power transformer faults are caused by iron core and winding faults. At present, the method that is most widely used for transformer iron core and winding faults identification is the vibration analysis method.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Implementation of three-phase transformer model in radial load-flow analysis

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2013
This paper presents an efficient approach for developing three-phase transformer admittance matrices in the radial power-flow analysis. The proposed transformer model overcomes the singularity problem of the nodal admittance submatrices of ungrounded ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Study on transformer electric field in different degrees of insulation aging considering temperature effects

open access: yesAIP Advances
In the transformer operation process, as the time continues to rise, the transformer winding and core will generate heat. Transformer oil, as an important heat dissipation and insulation part of the transformer, absorbs the heat generated by the ...

Heat transfer modeling in a transformer using magneto-CFD analysis and GWO algorithm considering dynamic thermal model

open access: yesResults in Engineering
One of the most expensive power system components is transformer. The correct use and health of the transformer increase the reliability of the power network. The transformer health is depend on careful planning for it.
