A computer program analysing transients in multistage pumping systems
1980Transient pressures subsequent to simultaneous power failure at all pumps of a multistage pumping system are analysed. Distributing pumping stations along a pipeline, rather than placing all of the required pumps within one pumping station, significantly reduces transient pressure fluctuations within the system.

A computer program system for transient electromagnetic analysis on a tokamak device
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1990A description is given of EDDYTOR, an eddy-current analysis and evaluation code system for tokamak reactors. The EDDYTOR system is able to calculate eddy currents, electromagnetic forces, stress and deformation, and plasma position and control properties.

Direct lightning surge analysis in wind turbines using electromagnetic transients computer program
2011 IEEE EUROCON - International Conference on Computer as a Tool, 2011This paper is concerned with direct lightning surge analysis in wind turbines. Portugal has one of the most ambitious goals in terms of wind power, and in 2006 was the second country in Europe with the highest wind power growth. Nevertheless, there are still very few studies in Portugal regarding lightning protection of wind turbines using the ...

MTRAC: Computer program for transient analysis of circuits including magnetic cores
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1969A square-loop magnetic core model, \dot{\phi} = \dot{\phi}_{elastic}(F,\dot{F}) + \dot{\phi}_{inelastic} (F,\phi) , has been incorporated into the automated circuit-analysis computer-program TRAC. The modified program, named MTRAC, includes supplementary provisions for successive modes of operation, nonlinear resistor and inductor models, normal and ...

Welltest - A Program For Computer-Aided Analysis Of Pressure Transients Data From Well Tests
SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 1979Abstract Any scheme for automatic analysis of well tests must have (1) a simulator that can model pressure transients accurately for a variety of well and reservoir configurations, (2) an estimator that provides unique estimates of reservoir parameters while producing a history match of the test data, and (3) a ...

A FORTRAN COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE SOLUTION OF MULTI-DIMENSIONAL, TRANSIENT, ABLATION PROBLEMS
1965Abstract : A flexible FORTRAN computer program to determine the temperature history and ablation history of aerodynamically heated flight bodies has been devised. The effect on heat conduction and aerodynamic heating histories of the removal of ablating wall materials is automatically accounted for by the computer program.
