Skin effect for transient currents
The concept of penetration depth may be as useful in estimating the current distribution in a conductor carrying a transient current, as the concept of classical skin depth is useful for estimating sinusoidal current distribution. Some theory is given, followed by an account of a simple experiment.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

The virtual impedance (VI) control method is widely used to limit fault current for grid-forming converter (GFMC). However, in this article, it is found that the VI deteriorates the transient synchronization stability of the GFMC under grid faults.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Lightning induced currents in aircraft wiring using low level injection techniques [PDF]
Various techniques were studied to predict the transient current induced into aircraft wiring bundles as a result of an aircraft lightning strike. A series of aircraft measurements were carried out together with a theoretical analysis using computer ...

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Existing transient stability analysis of grid-following (GFL) converters mainly focuses on the dynamics of the phase-locked loop (PLL), while current loop dynamics are usually neglected due to their faster response than PLL. However, this article reveals

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

After the single-phase high impedance fault (HIF) occurs in distribution networks, it is difficult to select the faulted feeder and locate the fault section due to the weak fault current and susceptibility to noise interference.
