Transient current measurements in polyimide
Conference on Electrical Insulation & Dielectric Phenomena - Annual Report 1986, 1986Polyimides are a group of polymers with excellent insulating properties such as low conductivity (comparable to SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 ) high breakdown field strength (−3MVcm−1) and a high chemical stability. Therefore they are often used in microelectronic devices as well as in energy electronics.

In the context of the coastal circulation problem, ‘transient’ currents will be taken to mean wind-induced motions of a time scale much longer than f −1, but shorter than the time in which bottom friction comes to control the pattern of flow. The foregoing three chapters have developed simple theoretical models for gaining physical insight into the ...

Transient Currents in the Ozonizer
Journal of Applied Physics, 1965An oscillographic study of the ozonizer discharge under normal operating conditions is made and is discussed in the light of known mechanisms active in glass vessels with external electrodes. The investigation is extended to various gases and the features of the breakdown attributable to the glass itself are distinguished from those depending on the ...

Transient Compensation of Current Transformers
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1978The existence of a siqnificant exponentially decaying dc transient in the primary current of a conventional current transformer leads to large transient values of core flux. Protective scheme design is therefore subjected to constraints, either that ct saturation be tolerated or that larger ct's incapable of saturation be provided.

Current Transients in Insulators
Journal of Applied Physics, 1965Electronic currents in insulators are strongly controlled by trap sites and therefore trapping can account for long-term charge and discharge currents. Some general calculations are carried out for the discharge of disorderly insulators; in most cases the discharge current decreases inversely with time. Measurements are demonstrated for SiO2 and SiO.

Transient Ischaemic Attacks Current Treatment Concepts
Drugs, 1985Transient ischaemic attacks are common, having an incidence of at least 50 per 100,000 population per annum, and the risk of stroke and/or death is about 10% per annum. Death is more often due to the complications of coronary artery disease than cerebrovascular disease.

Current Transients in Potassium Chloride
Nature, 1966A PRELIMINARY investigation has been carried out of current transients in potassium chloride at 150° C. The specimens used were single crystals of AnalaR grade, supplied by Hilger and Watts, Ltd.—the slab size being about 2.5 cm square and 0.4 cm thick.

Transient current testing based on current (charge) integration
Proceedings 1998 IEEE International Workshop on IDDQ Testing (Cat. No.98EX232), 2002We evaluated a technique that uses power supply charge as the test observable. Charge was computed from the measured supply transient current waveform. Data show that this method is efficient to detect those defects that prevent current elevation (mainly "hard" opens) and therefore represents a valid extension of I/sub DDQ/.

Transient Photovoltaic Current in Tetracene
Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1973In order to analyze the positive and negative charge current in the organic semiconductor, tetracene, we measured the transient photovoltaic current. From the rate equations for the relaxation of these two currents, the magnitude and the relaxation time of these currents are evaluated.
