Power and energy measurements of transient electric discharge
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1978A simple and inexpensive calculating device for electrical power and energy of transient electric discharges is described. The calculation is made by multiplication of the voltage and current of the discharge by use of wideband integrated circuits.

Transient energy function methods
2015The key idea that the alternative method is based on is to specify a certain function by which the system transient energy at the end of the disturbance period can be calculated. The calculated value is compared with a critical energy value to assess the transient stability, as the difference between the two values gives an indication of stability.

Threshold energy for transient cavitation-free bubbles
1978Assuming the model of a sigle free cavity in an incompressible, inviscid liquid, a threshold energy for the transient cavitation is obtained as a function of the rest radius of the cavity. The comparison with available experimental data from laser induced cavitation bubbles was carried out, and it gave satisfactory agreement with experiment.
