KOALA:A program for the processing and decomposition of transient spectra [PDF]
Extracting meaningful kinetic traces from time-resolved absorption spectra is a non-trivial task, particularly for solution phase spectra where solvent interactions can substantially broaden and shift the transition frequencies.

MYCN Amplification in RB1‐Inactivated Retinoblastoma: Association With High‐Risk Features
ABSTRACT Background MYCN amplification occurs in a subset of retinoblastoma cases, both with and without RB1 inactivation. It has been suggested that retinoblastomas with MYCN amplification represent a distinct entity with more aggressive clinical behavior.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Limit theorems for vertex-reinforced jump processes on regular trees
Consider a vertex-reinforced jump process defined on a regular tree, where each vertex has exactly $b$ children, with $b \ge 3$. We prove the strong law of large numbers and the central limit theorem for the distance of the process from the root.

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.

Analyzing the Transient Process and the Realizability of Fractional Systems via Intermittent Control
In this paper, we have studied the transient process and the realizability of fractional systems via intermittent control. For any system under intermittent control input, a transient oscillation process is inevitable when the input switches, which is ...

Fixation, transient landscape and diffusion's dilemma in stochastic evolutionary game dynamics
Agent-based stochastic models for finite populations have recently received much attention in the game theory of evolutionary dynamics. Both the ultimate fixation and the pre-fixation transient behavior are important to a full understanding of the ...

Temporal Control over Transient Chemical Systems using Structurally Diverse Chemical Fuels [PDF]
The next generation of adaptive, intelligent chemical systems will rely on a continuous supply of energy to maintain the functional state. Such systems will require chemical methodology that provides precise control over the energy dissipation process ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.
