Transient stability awareness based on regression analysis of stability margins
2015 50th International Universities Power Engineering Conference (UPEC), 2015In order to achieve online awareness of the transient stability of power systems, 10 different transient indicators that can be directly obtained or indirectly calculated using WAMS measurement data were chosen as original covariates for regression analysis of stability margins.

Integrated Direct Methods for Transient Stability Analysis
Electric Machines & Power Systems, 1999In this paper, three direct methods (i.e., Controlling Unstable Equilibrium Point (CUEP) method, Potential Energy Boundary Surface (PEBS) method, and Extended Equal Area Criterion (EEAC) method) for power system transient stability analysis have been reviewed and compared. Their analysis accuracy and their error sources are investigated.
