This article analyzes the impact of dc-link voltage control on the transient stability of voltage-source converters (VSCs) with the phase-locked loop (PLL) based synchronization. By integrating the dynamic of the dc-link voltage control into that of PLL,

Soft Mechanical‐Electrical Logic Using Liquid Metal‐Filled 3D‐Printed Architectures
We present 3D‐printed soft mechanical–electrical logic elements that use liquid metal–filled silicone tubes actuated by thermoplastic polyurethane/polylactic acid (TPU/PLA) architectures to produce Boolean operations. Complementary normally open and normally closed unit cells perform repeatable binary transitions and can be combined into more complex ...

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

An Overview of Assessment Methods for Synchronization Stability of Grid-Connected Converters under Severe Symmetrical Grid Faults [PDF]
Grid-connected converters exposed to weak grid conditions and severe fault events are at risk of losing synchronism with the external grid and neighboring converters.

This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

Impedance Estimation for Transient Stability Enhancement of Virtual Synchronous Machines
In this paper, a passive technique for estimating the impedance and voltage of a Thévenin grid is presented. The method can be applied when either the maximum active power or minimum reactive power operating point, with respect to the power angle, is crossed. This work addresses transient events, for which the former occurs.

Transient Stability Analysis of a Synchronous Motor by Lyapunov Method.
Since a synchronous motor is held heavy nonlinearity, the transient stability analysis of it is generally laborious. Conventionally, this analysis has been used numerical solution or equal-area method, whereas this paper is proposed a new transient stability criterion by applying Lyapunov method which is powerful for nonlinear systems to estimate these
